Use Acta on iPhone
The Acta app for iPhone records the meetings that don't happen on a screen. Put your phone on the table, tap record, and Acta writes the summary and action items when you're done.
Get the app and sign in
- 1Download Acta from the App Store.
- 2Open the app and sign in with Google, Apple or your email. Use the same account you use on the web.
Record a meeting
- 1Put your phone where it can hear everyone, such as the middle of the table.
- 2Tap Start Meeting Recording.
- 3Pause and resume when you need to. The screen stays on while you record.
- 4Stop the recording. Acta uploads it and writes the summary and action items.
Tell people you're recording
It's good practice, and in many places the law, to tell everyone in the meeting.
Read your notes
Your meetings are in the app and in My meetings on the web. Read your meeting notes explains each part of the notes.
More you can do
- Upload a recording that's already on your phone, and Acta writes the notes.
- Send the notetaker to an online meeting when you're running late.
- Ask Acta a question about a meeting and get the answer from what was said.
Online meetings without a bot
The app records through your phone's microphone. To record an online call without a bot, use the desktop app or the Chrome extension on your computer.
