Upload a recording to Acta

Already have a recording? Upload it and Acta transcribes it and writes the notes, the same as a meeting it recorded.

Upload a file

  1. 1In Acta, go to My meetings and click Upload audio.
  2. 2Drag the file onto the box, or click Browse files.
  3. 3Acta uploads and transcribes it. Click View progress to follow it.

Good to know

  • Files must be MP3 or M4A audio, one at a time.
  • You can't upload while Record audio is recording: stop the recording first.
  • If an upload fails, the progress window offers Try again.

Troubleshooting

It says "Unsupported file format"

Upload an MP3 or M4A file. Convert other formats to one of these first.

It says a file upload is in progress

Wait until the current upload finishes, then add the next file.
